Older & Specialty Equipment
Not every machine has a standard 9-pin diagnostic connector.
Mondak works on older, imported, modified and specialty equipment where the diagnostic connection may be:

- Built directly into an engine or controller harness
When the proper connector is not available, we can build the appropriate diagnostic connection using the correct pinout.
Depending on the system, that may involve:

That can be especially useful on older machines, standalone engines and equipment that does not use a normal truck-style diagnostic port.

A hose failure may look simple until the machine uses an unusual fitting, metric connection or application-specific hose.

The right hose is the one that matches the application, not automatically the hose with the highest pressure rating.
Portable Line Boring in the Field
That allows worn pivots and bores to be repaired on equipment that may be too large or inconvenient to move.

Sometimes the machine shop needs to go to the machine.
Welding & Fabrication
Field repair can also involve welding and fabrication when appropriate.

- Other repair fabrication
More involved machining or fabrication can be completed back at the shop when that is the better repair.
The Machine Can Stay. The Component Can Come With Us.
Field service does not mean every repair has to be completed beside the machine.
Sometimes the best approach is:
- Diagnose the equipment on-site.
- Determine which component actually failed.
- Remove the component.
- Bring it back to the shop for rebuilding, machining or fabrication.
- Return and reinstall it.
That can be much more practical than transporting the entire machine.
Emergency Breakdown Service
Breakdowns do not always happen during a convenient maintenance window.
Mondak provides emergency field service for equipment that needs attention where it is sitting.
The first objective is to determine:
- What failed
- Whether the machine can be repaired on-site
- What parts or tooling are required
- Whether a component needs to come back to the shop
We would rather arrive prepared than turn a service call into several unnecessary trips.
