A weak machine does not automatically need a pump.

Older Components Don't Automatically Mean Obsolete Equipment
Hydraulic manufacturers and product lines have changed names, merged and evolved over the years.

What Caused the Failure?
Replacing the failed component may only solve half the problem.
A pump, motor or valve can be damaged by conditions such as:
