Keeping critical equipment running
When equipment goes down, productivity stops, schedules slip and costs rise. Our job is to keep your equipment running and your operation moving.
Anyone can replace parts. We solve problems.
We provide heavy equipment repair, hydraulic service, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, fabrication and mobile field service for customers throughout the region.
Field breakdowns, shop hydraulic rebuilds, preventive maintenance and difficult diagnosis all have the same objective: get the equipment back to work.
We do not believe every problem has to be solved the way it has always been done. Our team looks for practical fixes that minimize downtime. When it is appropriate and safe, we will find a temporary fix that keeps equipment operating while the right parts are on the way. Sometimes that means finding a part nobody else can find. Sometimes it means modifying or adapting an existing component. And when it is necessary, we have gone as far as machining our own parts to get equipment running again.
Backed by a strong network
Some problems take more than one person's experience. Over the years we have built a large network of manufacturers, suppliers, engineers, machine shops, hydraulic specialists and component rebuilders.
If we do not have the answer, we know who to call. If we do not have the part, we will work to find it. That network, combined with years of hands-on experience, helps us find another repair path and take on complicated repairs when the usual options run out.
See What We Service
The people behind the wrenches
A team of local people with different personalities, different specialties, strong opinions and a lot of experience. We take our work seriously. Ourselves, not always. But when a customer's equipment is down, we are serious about getting it back to work.
Samantha
Owner and Chief Everything Officer
Samantha keeps the whole operation moving and somehow knows what is happening even when nobody else does. As the owner, she watches the big picture, the small details, the customers and the paperwork all at once.
Specialty: Keeping everyone pointed in the right direction.
Sam
Head Broom Pusher and Professional Problem Solver
Sam earned the title of Head Broom Pusher, though he keeps getting pulled into actual equipment repairs. He likes things neat and organized, and he does not much care whether something has always been done a certain way.
Specialty: Thinking outside the box, keeping things organized and finding a way to make things work.
Kidd
Knows-It-All and Senior Problem Solver
Need to know how something works? Ask Kidd. Need to know why it does not work? Ask Kidd. With years of experience and an answer for just about everything, he brings a lot of knowledge to the team. And occasionally he is even right.
Specialty: Knowing things nobody knew needed to be known.
David
Resident Dickinson Technician
David is the quiet one. He starts early, gets to work and has a habit of finishing the job before the rest of us have time to ask how it is going. Based out of Dickinson, he keeps customers across the region moving.
Specialty: Getting there early, getting it done and knowing who to call when he needs a little extra help.
Mikey
PM Technician and Assistant
Mikey helps keep equipment from becoming a breakdown in the first place. He handles preventive maintenance, inspections, service work and whatever else the day throws at him. He is learning fast and becoming an important part of the team.
Specialty: Keeping equipment maintained and keeping everyone else caffeinated.
Jason
Sales
Jason grew up in the area, and if there is one thing we have learned, he seems to know just about everybody. Years in the community have given him a huge network of local relationships that help customers find the right answer.
Specialty: Knowing people, building relationships and getting the phone number of the person who can help.
Guy
Welder, Fabricator, Line Boring and Axle Spindle Work
Yes, Guy is really his name. Guy is who we call when something needs to be welded, fabricated, line bored or brought back to life. He handles the repairs that require somebody who knows how to make metal do what it is supposed to do.
Specialty: Welding, fabrication, line boring, axle and spindle work, and making things fit when they probably should not.
Isa
Bookkeeping
Isa keeps the financial side of Mondak organized and makes sure the books do not become as complicated as some of the repairs we take on. She is kind, helpful and always willing to keep things moving behind the scenes.
Specialty: Keeping the books straight while keeping the team honest.
Leah
Website and Information
Leah keeps the equipment information on our website current and makes sure the details on our hydraulic hose site stay accurate. When she is not at the computer, she heads into the field with our technicians on larger jobs.
Specialty: Keeping the information correct and occasionally getting dirty.
Jared
Driver
We are still learning about Jared. What we do know is this: we tell him where something is, we tell him where it needs to go, and somehow it gets there. He moves equipment, trailers, parts and whatever else needs to travel.
Specialty: Getting it there. Preferred setup: old truck, new trailer.

Different people, one goal
