Mondak builds hydraulic hose assemblies for oilfield, construction, aerial, agricultural, material handling and industrial equipment.
We build assemblies up to 2 inch inside diameter and 10,000 PSI, depending on the application and hose specifications.

The Highest Pressure Hose Isn't Always the Right Hose
A higher pressure rating does not automatically mean a hose will last longer.
If a hydraulic system normally operates around 2,100 PSI, putting a 5,000 PSI hose on it simply because it has a higher rating may not improve service life.
The hose needs to be selected for the actual application.
That means considering:
- Working pressure and pressure spikes
- Hose size and flow
- Temperature
- Fluid compatibility
- Bend radius
- Routing and movement
- Abrasion and external conditions
- Fittings and connection type
A heavier hose may have different construction, flexibility and bend requirements that make it a poor choice for the way the machine is built.
The goal is not to install the highest-pressure hose available.
The goal is to install the right hose for the pressure, temperature, movement and application.
Hard-to-Find Fittings & Adapters
This is one of Mondak's strengths.
We carry and source fittings and adapters that many local hose counters do not commonly stock, including:
- DIN
- BSPP
- VOSS
- JIS
- KOMA
- Metric fittings
- Conversion adapters
- Specialty hydraulic connections
We also work with common connections such as JIC, ORFS, SAE ORB, NPT, BSPT and flange fittings.
European, Japanese and specialty equipment often uses connections that are easy to misidentify.
We would rather determine what is actually on the machine and install the correct connection than modify the hydraulic system simply because the fitting is harder to find.
Mobile Hydraulic Hose Service
Some equipment is not coming to the hose shop.
Mondak provides mobile hydraulic hose service for large equipment in the field.
Depending on the job, we can handle:
- Hose removal
- Fitting identification
- On-site hose fabrication
- Installation
- Routing corrections
For large oilfield, construction and industrial equipment, repairing the hose at the machine can make more sense than moving the entire piece of equipment.
When a Hose Keeps Failing
If the same hose keeps failing, another hose may only be part of the answer.
We look at things such as:
- Chafing and abrasion
- Routing
- Bend radius
- Movement
- Heat
- Clamping and hose guides
- Contact with surrounding equipment
- Pressure problems
- Whether the hose was properly selected for the application
Replacing the hose gets the machine running.
Understanding why it failed can keep you from doing the same repair again. If a hose failure points at the wider hydraulic system, our hydraulic diagnostics and field repair work starts there.

If you have an unusual DIN, BSPP, VOSS, JIS, KOMA or other metric hydraulic connection, bring it to us.
You do not need to identify it first.
